Kawasaki KX 100 bike fitted with VTAC® set in Limiter Mode

for a dump clutch start at 11000 RPM in 1st gear.  The YZ125 is standard and does a conventional dump clutch launch.

Yamaha YZ 125 (number 19) with VTAC®) set in Traction Control Mode

for a dump clutch start at 11000 RPM in 1st gear.  The circuit terrain is a sand and dirt mixture. The rider has the RPM Blip Function enabled and as soon as 11000RPM is reached (just after the start gate) the bike goes immediately into 2nd gear with the rider’s boot applying upward pressure ready for the next “Power On” up-shift.

for a dump clutch start at 11000 RPM in 1st gear.  The rider to the right of number 19 has tried the same launch.  The stability difference is quite clear.

for a dump start at 7500 RPM in 2nd gear.   SX riders normally launch in 2nd gear due to short straights to the first bend.
